I’ve got three blueberry bushes, I’ve got a fig tree, I’ve got 20 tomato plants. We put up enough basil last summer to have pesto until now. It’s fucking great.

The heat is making everything come out at once. You can actually see it growing. Blueberry blossoms, lilacs. But if there’s a frost now, we’re fucked.

My back yard smells like slow-roasting magnolia…like hot perfume. kinda sexy/southern gothic smell. You can see stuff growing out there. Roses, apple blossoms, everything. I built raised beds for tomatoes the other day

Spring has basically started.

It’s supposed to be cold and rainy for the next week…as long as it doesn’t freeze. All the little plants are poking back up. My front yard is filled with daffodils.
